A meditative 'SlowTV' animation using AI to imperceptibly morph (in latent space) between, abstracted, painterly versions of a single photo of Karri forest regrowth.
A locally installed desktop version of ComfyUi was used for the AI processing.

Take a couple of my previous kaleidoscopic images, feed them through Stable Diffusion using a ComfyUI workflow that includes a text prompt then 're-kaleidoscope' the output to create the central element and you get this.

My new video > GROUND COVER
Move into the slow lane with AI image morphing and journey through the thin, fragile and sometimes mystical veneer of wonders comprising the ground cover of South-West Australia that is a Karri forest.
AI (Stable Diffusion) was used to morph between photos and create some of the creature animations. Instead of just a blend of images like a basic crossfade, when morphed within AI's 'latent space', in-between images are generated that gradually shift in structure, style, and features, making the transitions almost impercptible. These transitions can feel like optical illusions. Prepare for a few surprises along the way.
