‘Dance Nature by Candle-light’ is a once monthly ecstatic dance immersion for adults, freeing us into the expansive spaciousness & natural, heart-felt joy of the flow state.
Held at Footscray’s BodyVoice Centre in the atmospheric ambience of the play of shadows & darkness, illumined by the pure flame of traditional diya lamps in the spacious high ceiling studio, we gather to unwind, unfurl & immerse into the welcoming rhythms of breath, heartbeat, body and sound.
With the foundational support of yoga in which we honour the wholeness of being, the dance of bliss in our bodies that is vibration, movement & rhythm... we awaken a remembering of our essential nature -our Dance Nature.
I may offer gentle guidance in moving, breathing & listening to begin- & from there our well-crafted playlist of sonic sweetness will carry you into your own dance nature as you feel it.
Our eclectic ecstatic playlist features a craftily curated selection of world music, tribal rhythms, bhakti beats & electronica - requests are encouraged- let Lisa know your fave track.
We close the session with deep, supine rest in sivasana, and a circle of chai, cookies and chats. All welcome, book with Lisa to receive your invite, pay online or at the door.
