.ericblanc is a Creative Director, Fashion Designer, and model.

Finding huge success with his first collection in 2021, Eric’s story of being unapologetically himself should inspire anyone. While working as a stylist, Eric was asked to style for a magazine in Hawaii, but insisted on creating a collection instead.
Wanting to make something with purpose that reflected himself, the collection used tapa cloth - inspired by his Samoan culture.
Eric didn’t do a single runway, yet his collection ended up being featured in two magazines, with a model feature , and shown in a museum in Germany in the Pacifica Exhibition.

Tune in to hear this insightful and hilarious conversation, also discussing things like modelling for , comparing the Brisbane fashion scene, wearing suits, and crafting the first fully Pacific Islander based collection.

The talented & wonderful joins us on the Dojo Media Show šŸŽ™ļø

Shelley is a singer/songwriter currently based in the United States.
In this episode, Shelley shares her heartfelt story of self-discovery and musical evolution. Raised in an Orthodox Jewish community, and falling for music while performing with her father’s wedding band, Shelley’s personal and creative life took a turn as she delved into science. Confronting what she found as contradictions within her religion, and taking issue with things such as gender segregation, she began questioning everything. Fuelled by a desire to rediscover herself, she began crafting powerful, lyrically-driven songs about atheism and personal growth.

Her 2011 album, ā€˜An Atheist Album’, found an audience amongst other disenfranchised people, particularly in the US.
Venturing from Australia to America, Shelley found her voice resonating with individuals who shared her journey. From intimate gatherings to massive crowds of 30,000 alongside names like Richard Dawkins and Tim Minchin, her music struck chords across diverse communities.

Eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2016, she continued to expand her musical repertoire and industry footprint, establishing production and publishing companies while delving into film & tv licensing. Now she works with talented artists across genres, all over the world, continuing to inspire.

Shelley’s journey is a testament to defiance, growth, and the unifying powers of music.

S**i Daha is a singer, a teacher, and a humanitarian.
Seemingly involved in so much, S**i says his focus is narrowed down to; his artistry as a singer, his school - Music Roof, and his not for profit organisation ā€˜I Believe In Me’.

In this exciting conversation we dive into all 3. S**i shares experiences from Australian Idol, his personal journey since then, and a confronting story about the dark side of the industry. All of which directly lead into the 2 new singles he has just released.
Knowing the struggles other artists face, S**i started Music Roof to give vocal lessons and teach other artists how to properly brand themselves. Soon to be expanding into Bryon Bay!

We explore the inspiring origins behind ā€˜I Believe In Me’, starting as a children’s book about empowering and educating women of colour, then turning into a charitable organisation that donates books as well as offering workshops and scholarship programs.

We end the conversation on his documentary project chronicling three BIPOC female independent artists in Meanjin (Brisbane) showcasing their stories and struggles.

S**i is a dreamer who is helping others achieve theirs! An inspiring listen!
