What a weekend!
Life has been full-on for me and my family over the past couple of months, and on top of everything, we helped pull off one of the dopest concerts ever held in Brisbane. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
A huge thank you to my uso Ronnie for trusting me, valuing my input, and bringing me on as a partner for Big Village. That trust means everything.
To our incredible team — Ronnie, Tikelz, JAHBOY, Jaro Local, Naia, Sol, and Veronica — we really did that. We were straight-up firefighters in the lead-up and on the night 😂, but we got it done.
Shoutout to my Sick Wit it Crew usoz Teina Mamaori and Saia Frank Sola for representing the team with pride. I was blessed to also spin sets for Chelsie, COTTSII, Stanley T, Tarvin Toune, Wameblood, Jahboy, Jammin, Dimi Carter, and BIBAO — truly an honour.
Massive thanks to my brother and mentor Tikelz, my go-to for industry advice and for holding down jamming duties when my laptop broke 😂. Big love to my usoz from The Loft, Onechord, Jaro Local, and Onetox for absolutely ripping it up on the night. What an epic event.
Big love to my kids for putting posters up all around Brisbane, and to ABC Radio and Fresh Crew for welcoming us in to help promote the show. Thank you to my family for always supporting everything I do, and to our videographers and graphic artists for bringing the vision to life.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed love, supported the show, and came through — the vibes were on point. Special shoutout to our hype crew on the night, Berta and Bobby.
