✨ We’ve just wrapped the 2026 Creator Economy Summit. An event exploring the growing intersection between traditional media and the creator economy.

Held alongside the AACTA Festival, the week leading into the Summit was packed with industry moments (including walking the red carpet at the AACTA Awards! 🥂🎬)

It was a great reminder of just how close these two worlds now sit… even if they don’t always speak the same language.

Here’s what stood out most:

🎥 Traditional media organisations were deeply curious about the licensing, IP and revenue models emerging from the creator economy.
📱 Creators, on the other hand, were keen to learn how to build more sustainable businesses, strengthen their processes, and collaborate more effectively with studios and networks.

The appetite to work together is clearly there on both sides, but it also became obvious how much opportunity remains untapped (and how much work there is still to do to bridge the gap meaningfully).

We’re so excited to see where the next chapter of this event (and this collaboration between worlds) goes next. 💥
