Pets. Pictures of your pets.
Last time we pleaded for Things Other Than Dogs.
And it was Good.
We got goats, chooks, guinea-pigs (actually, Cecil the guinea-pig won the $50 voucher from Huon Valley Prime Meats!), sheep, a horse or two.
IT WAS EXCELLENT ---> send in more!
We want to see your stick insects, your ferrets, your rats and your alpacas...
(Of course dogs and cats are loved and appreciated, but they do take up a lot of the limelight.)

You too can go in the running to win a $50 voucher for Huon Valley Prime Meats - the fantastic butcher right next to Woolies.

Babies.
The call-out for pets that weren't dogs was fantastic! We had guinea-pigs, goats, chooks...
Unfortunately we can't ask for different kinds of babies - just the regular freshly hatched ones.
Are there any new babies out there who would like to be in the Huon News next week?

We've had a chicken and a rabbit - can we get a sheep?

Once a month we put a call out for pictures of tiny new arrivals to the Huon Valley... giving you the opportunity to introduce your newest family member to the community, plus the chance to win a $50 voucher from the Geeveston Pharmacy.

2. Include their name, date of birth/age, your town in the Huon Valley, and parents' names.
At the end of each month we will publish the New Arrivals we receive and randomly select one submission for a $50 voucher, generously donated from the Geeveston Pharmacy.

History will be made this Saturday, as for the first-time ever, both the Cygnet Football Club and Huonville Lions will play off against each other in the SFL Tasmania- the home of community football Community League Under 18 Boys, Reserves and Seniors Grand Finals at North Hobart Oval.
