Periscope's Alice Wolfe had the privilage of travelling to the Gold Coast last week to participating in the AI Masterclass for Women in the Screen Industry with the incredibly talented Jessie Hughes, followed by the Screen Producers Australia Screen Forever 2026 conference.

It was an inspiring and energising experience, with deep, thoughtful conversations about the future of AI in our industry, and connecting with so many passionate creatives.

A huge thank you to Screenwest for their travel support, which made this experience possible.

Thanks to all our amazing participants and crew that helped make Series 2 of Our Medicine a reality! We are really excited to showcase so many inspiring people doing incredible work.

Our Medicine airs Sundays starting this Sunday March 15 at 7:30pm on NITV and SBS On Demand, and then on SBS on Thursdays at 8:30pm from March 26.

Periscope Pictures is one of three WA production companies to receive Screenwest funding to provide job training opportunities in the doco industry. We are thrilled to be able to provide learning opportunities and flexible work arrangements for talented emerging practitioners with young families!

Smashing Films, Prospero Productions and Periscope Pictures have each been supported with up to $50,000 to offer paid on the job training opportunities to local screen practitioners.
