05/07 — GLOBAL RHYTHMS #018 with FLIP THE LID Flip The Lid

Straight outta Belfast, Ireland, Bossman draws on tribal percussion, 90s progressive and tech-house grooves through the lens of , blending rolling rhythms with just enough funk and disco to keep hips moving.

A recent convert to the world of vinyl, he's sharpening his craft one record at a time. Years spent in Manchester's underground, from Meat Free, Eastern Bloc, The White Hotel and Soup Kitchen to Warehouse Project, helped shape his sound and his approach to the dancefloor.

Now calling Perth home, he's found familiar ground in its tight-knit underground, where promoters, DJs and punters all play their part. Still building, still digging and always backing the community, this sunday Bossman joins Global Rhythms with a bag of good tunes.

Straight outta Leicester, UK, GAZELI moves through the cracks between electro, progressive and psychedelia, stitching together sounds that feel both celestial and dirty, floating above the clouds one minute and dragging you through the swamp the next.

As one half of PLASTICITY, he's been putting in the work to build dancefloors where community comes first and the music does the talking. No VIP energy. No bu****it. Just people moving together for the right reasons.

As co-host of Moonlight Rendezvous on freocast, he dives deeper into the ritual: intimate spaces, open minds and moments where connection matters more than clout. Deep listening, authentic expression and those tracks that hit you right in the chest.
