BLUE SUNDAY BLUES BAND is fronted by multi award winning blues artist, singer/guitarist MARCO GOLDSMITH, known for his songwriting and live performances throughout Australia, spanning several decades.
Originally from Port Fairy, Marco formed blues outfit The Mudcats in Warrnambool, performing many shows in the local area while developing his songwriting skills. He later formed powerhouse band Marco Goldsmith's Blue Heat, which went on to release 4 albums, win multiple awards, and score the tour support for B.B.King! A couple of solo albums later, and after touring Australia widely, Marco based himself in Geelong. There, The Marco Goldsmith Band was formed, and that band lineup enjoyed wide popularity and many highlights, including filling the support spot for Status Quo.
Over the past decade, Blue Sunday Blues Band has been Marco’s mainstay venture, with a solid blues lineup bringing together the combined talents of RON HILLA on bass (ex Turning Blue, Matt Corcoran Band), SANDY ORO on drums (ex Matt Corcoran Band, Chantoozies), LENNY KEYS on keyboards (Tumblin' Dice, Cam Henderson Band) and CRAIG CRESWELL on guitar/vocals.
