In 2001 became a fully fledged community organization going to air in 2003. The station had it's third home in it's current location and offers an open friendly welcome to all. Call in and see us anytime week days between 9am-3pm

Tamar FM invites all members to attend a Special General Meeting at the station, 29-67 Macquarie Street, George Town, on Wednesday 20th November 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Some minor changes to the Constitution have been specified by the ACMA as part of our licensing conditions. Tamar FM regrets to advise that we are no longer able to support the monthly George Town market. We thank everyone who has supported us at the market and BBQ in the past. We hope the community will continue to support us as we change our fund-raising direction. Tamar FM will continue to provide a great range of music and support the community with our Community Service Announcements.

TamarFM is currently "off air" due to power outage in George Town. Radio and streaming should both be back sometime this afternoon.

TamarFM web pages and streaming are being impacted by an NBN fault - we are waiting for it to be fixed. We have not been advised of a resolution time. Our radio transmission (95.3 Mhz) is not affected. Sorry for any inconvenience,

Tamar FM Annual General Meeting.

Notice is given that the Annual General Meeting of Tamar FM Inc will be held on Wednesday 20th September 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Those who would like to attend are invited to the the Tamar FM radio station at 29 - 67 Macquarie St, George Town.

Members who were financial as at the 5th of September, may nominate for the Board up to 7 days before the meeting. Nomination forms are available from the station or from the Volunteer page of our website, www.tamarfm.net.

TamarFM is celebrating 20 years of broadcasting on the 29th August. We invite our members and the general public to call in between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm and meet the team and see the station.

Our AGM was held today. Thanks to all who attended. On a note of sadness Kaye and Dennis Rawlinson retired after a decade of wonderful volunteer work. The entire Tamar FM family wishes them a wonderful future fulfilling their dreams together. The Tamar Valley is so much better for having you both in it. Kevin.
