🚨 WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING 🚨

- Firefighters are actively fighting the fire.
- Bush Fire Service, Career Fire and Rescue Service, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Volunteer Fire and Emergency Service and Parks and Wildlife Service firefighters are in attendance.
- State Emergency Service volunteers are also assisting.
- Additional firefighting crews and incident management team personnel are on their way from Perth.
- Aerial support has been sent to assist ground crews.

DFES is receiving support from a number of agencies including St John Ambulance, WA Police, Western Power, Main Roads and WA Country Health Service.

🚁 DRONES AND AERIAL SUPPORT 🚁

Never fly a drone, model aircraft or multirotor near bushfires. Doing so poses a major safety risk to firefighting personnel in the air and on the ground, and forces aircraft to be grounded or redirected, hindering firefighting efforts.

ℹ No further updates will be published to Facebook for this incident. For the latest information visit emergency.wa.gov.au or the Emergency WA app.

Why have I been quiet?
Because your girl has been BUSY.
Think: client content prep for Dec/Jan, onboarding three new businesses, website revamps, app setups, and my volunteer secretary role for the Geraldton Women’s Shed (aka a whole extra full-time job).
Socials: silent.
Life: loud.

But I am here… working away. Living life. Balancing the juggle.

I hope you’re all rolling into the festive season with some sanity left ###
