Two billion people do not have access to clean cooking methods.
Because of this more than 3 million people die every year from the burning of dangerous fuels in their own homes.
When people are without electric or gas-powered air-conditioning, heating or cooking, they must burn whatever they can get their hands on to survive.

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 17-year-old girl reported missing from Kin Kora since yesterday afternoon, 16 November.

The girl, pictured, was last seen at an address on Philip Street around 2.50pm and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

The girl is Caucasian, with a slim build, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing grey shorts, a two-toned grey jumper, and a clear rain poncho.

Police are appealing to the girl or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact police.

Around 2.20am, two unknown people (pictured) entered a Sirrat Street business and stole car keys and a quantity of cash before fleeing towards Taragoola Road.
