Release Information

Sydney-based indie pop artist Grace Turbo releases her second album Yes, And on 7 August, with a launch show at The Eveleigh Hotel, Redfern.

Built around piano, synth, bass and drums - with layered harmonies throughout and a handful of starker, more intimate moments stripped back to voice and keys - Yes, And is an album about time, memory, and the people who rewrite the past to avoid feeling it. It draws on the quiet devastation of emotionally unavailable relationships and the uncomfortable truth that two people can live through the same thing and come away with completely different stories.

Produced by Blain Cunneen, the record follows her 2019 debut Enjoy the Ache and represents a significant step forward - in ambition, in sound, and in emotional clarity. Comparisons to Aldous Harding, Julia Jacklin and Regina Spektor point toward where she sits: literate, melody-first songwriting with a sharp eye for the moment feeling and meaning come apart.

The album has been preceded by three singles: Camera Shy (Triple RRR, fbi), Linear - which premiered via Backseat Mafia, was covered by Happy Mag, and received airplay on 2SER, fbi and RTRFM - and Bleed Again, accompanied by a music video out 23 June.

Originally from New Zealand and shaped by years in both Melbourne and Sydney, Grace Turbo is building a distinct voice in Australian independent music - one that refuses to let the past stay settled.

Ways To Be Gentle is the debut album by Brisbane/Meanjin 4 piece LSOD (Lonely Sort of Death). It’s ten tracks pulling from post-punk and indie rock as well as traditional violin.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered independently by frontman Nathan Marshall.
The lead single “Cuts Like A Knife” was released in May, 2026 to streaming and radio. “Pinot Grigio”, a bitter but tender song, was released in early July. The final single “The Well” is dropping one week before the album’s release, on July 24th.
Ways To Be Gentle’s songs were recorded fully DIY on farmlands out at Plainlands, QLD. With the help of PHD’s Daniel Scholl, bass and drums were live tracked into a 32 channel mixer, with guitars, violin and vocals all coming after - all handled by Nathan Marshall and drummer Ethan Farquharson. The goal was to emulate classic post-punk atmospheres - inspired by The Chameleons, The Cure, Bauhaus - as well as modern artists like Interpol, Idles, Shame, Fontaines DC, Bloc Party.
LSOD will celebrate the release with a listening party at PFR Lounge on July 26, followed by a launch show at Season Three on August 6.
Recommended tracks for airplay: "Cuts Like a Knife," "Pinot Grigio," "The Well."
LSOD is Nathan Marshall (vocals, guitar), Liam Watson (bass), Abbey Watson (violin), Ethan Farquharson (drums).

Call of Circadia announce the release of their second album in the progressive art rock genre on 14 August 2026. The album features three epic progressive tracks (between 10 and 15 minutes in length) and two shorter tracks close to 5 minute mark. All tracks feature a stunning line up of musicians from across the globe. ‘I Can Hear Her Calling’ & ‘Rainbows in the Sun’ have already been released as singles and have a Youtube videos

THE VOLCANICS REALISE IT’S TOO LATE TO RUN - SO THEY BETTER ROCK INSTEAD!

Australian rock’n’roll band The Volcanics are set to release their new album Too Late To Run. It’ll be the seventh album from the band and probably their most hard hitting yet. Recorded and produced by Jozef Grech (Datura4) at RADA studios and mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (The Dirtbombs), the new LP features ten killer new tracks including singles Heat Of The Night with its driving rhythm and the anthemic Walk You Home, both released earlier in the year to much fanfare and celebration. There’s also the swaggering Body Shake, the rum drunk wooziness of Lost Boats and the title track itself Too Late To Run, the pièce de résistance of the record with its heavy riffs and epic guitar runs that lead into a soulful rock chorus which leaves the listener begging for more.

To celebrate the release of the new album The Volcanics will be having a launch party at Milk Bar in Inglewood on August 1 with special guests Legs Electric, The Pretty Skints and Simon/Gus (Never Never). Tickets are available from Oztix.

Too Late To Run will be available on 180gram 12 inch vinyl as well as digitally from The Volcanics’ Bandcamp page.

Release Information
This is the debut album from Adelaide-based Indie Rock Artist and Songwriter - Dan Higgins.

This album features several new compositions, along with remastered versions of popular previous releases.

Providing a mixture hard driving electric guitar anthems, along with softer acoustic ballads, this album explores various themes - From reflections on the Manosphere, the anticipation of another child, and day-to-day life in general.

Scheduled for release on 1st August 2026, the album represents a snapshot in time for the Songwriter, who is using music as a way of diarising his life, and trying to identify his place in an ever changing world.
