Sooo I decided to “break up” with a client recently.

Yes awkward as hellll, but honestly… I know it was the right call.

There was no big drama or anything. I just felt like we weren’t really a good fit anymore. I’d grown so much (and so had she) and something in my gut was telling me it was time to let go

And yes, part of me was like ~ oof, that’s money gone… a retainer slot I didn’t exactly plan to open up haha

But also… it’s kind of a relief because now there’s space 🥰

Space to work with someone who actually feels aligned.
Or space to spend time on my own business again.

(Or just to breathe a bit, let’s be real)

It’s easy to keep saying yes because it’s “fine” or “not that bad” or “I can just manage it”… until you realise how much energy it’s actually taking up outside of the actual client work.

So yeah. Weird times. But a good decision!

& a reminder if you’re in the same position that it’s okay to let go, to open yourself up for something more aligned
