One thing I’ve realised over the last few years…

Most people aren’t missing opportunities.
They’re waiting until they feel ready.

I used to think I needed more confidence before I started something new.

More knowledge.
More certainty.
More proof that it would work.

But the truth is… that “ready” feeling rarely shows up first.

Three years ago I started something because I knew I needed another income stream for the future.

Then life got busy and I stepped away.
Looking back now, it wasn’t because the opportunity disappeared.

It was because I let doubt and distractions take over.

Fast forward to today and I see it differently.

Confidence doesn’t come before the decision.

It comes after you decide to move forward and start figuring things out.

None of us start something new knowing exactly what we’re doing.

We start because we know staying where we are isn’t the long-term plan.

So if you’ve been watching from the sidelines wondering if something like this could work for you too…

Maybe the real question isn’t “am I ready?"

Maybe it’s “what happens if I never start?”

If you’re curious about what I’m building this time around, message me and I’ll share what I’m doing.

Three years ago I said yes to something that could have changed my financial future… and then life got in the way.

Back then I knew I needed to build something outside of my job.

Like a lot of people, I could see the cost of living climbing, retirement getting closer, and I knew relying on one income wasn’t the smartest plan.

So I joined.

But life happened. Work, family, responsibilities… all the things that pull your attention away. And before I knew it, I had stepped away from it completely.

Fast forward to now.

I’m an empty nester, closer to retirement than I’d like to admit, and dealing with chronic health issues that have made me really rethink how I want the next chapter of my life to look.

And I had a bit of a wake-up moment.
Because the opportunity I walked away from three years ago… didn’t disappear.

In fact, it grew.

Seeing it again made me realise something pretty quickly.

The potential I walked away from back then is still here.

So this time I decided I wasn’t going to sit on the sidelines wondering “what if”.

I’ve stepped back in, surrounded myself with an incredible community, and I’m building something that can support my future instead of relying on one paycheck forever.

If you’ve ever looked at your job, your retirement plans, or your future and thought… there has to be another way to create more options.

I get it.

If you’re curious about what I’m doing this time around, send me a message and I’ll happily share.

And yes, this time I’m actually showing up.

I’m Done Settling

Something shifts after 40.

You stop chasing titles.

You stop caring about office politics.

You stop pretending you’re satisfied when you’re not.

You start thinking about time.

Energy.
Freedom.

I’m still working full time.

But I’m also building something that belongs to me.

Because I don’t want to wake up at 60 wishing I had backed myself sooner.

That’s it. No hype. Just honesty.

Supplement, Not Replace

Let’s be honest.

Most of us don’t need millions.

We need breathing room.

Extra income to:

• Ease pressure
• Build retirement
• Create choice
• Say no when something feels wrong

That’s why I started building a side income.

Not because I hate my job.

Because I don’t want one paycheck to control my decisions.

It’s not flashy. It’s not overnight.

It’s smart.

And at this stage of life, smart beats fast.

Empty Nester Reality

Becoming an empty nester changes more than your house.

It changes your perspective.

You suddenly have time again. Space. Mental clarity.

And you start asking bigger questions.

Is this how I want the next 10–15 years to look? Definitely not!

Am I relying too heavily on one income stream?

Will super actually be enough?

I don’t have all the answers.

But I do know this.

I refuse to drift into retirement hoping it works out.

So I’m building something alongside my job. Slow. Consistent. Real.

Because future me deserves more than “I wish I had started.”

I’m Not Angry, I’m Awake

I used to think feeling unsettled at work meant I was ungrateful.

Stable job. Regular income. Super ticking along. This is normal right?

But lately I’ve realised it’s not dissatisfaction.

It’s awareness.

Awareness that relying on one income in this economy feels risky.

Awareness that retirement isn’t as far away as it used to be.

Awareness that I don’t want to be exhausted by the time I finally get “freedom.”

I’m still working full time.

I’m not pretending I’ve replaced my income.
But I am building something on the side because I want options.

That’s the difference.
Not quitting in panic.

Building with intention.

If you’re over 40 and feeling that quiet shift… you’re not crazy. You’re evolving.

26/02/2026

Not quitting today. Not staying forever either. Because there is more to life than just this.

I’m building my exit. Message me.

𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.

How many times have I said that before?

I’ll wait until things calm down.
I’ll wait until work isn’t so busy.
I’ll wait until I feel more confident.
I’ll wait until we’ve saved a bit more.

Next year turns into three.

Meanwhile…

The cost of living doesn’t wait.
Retirement doesn’t wait.
Super doesn’t magically grow because we hoped harder.

I’m still working full time. I’m not pretending I’ve escaped the system.

But I stopped waiting.

I decided to build something on the side now, in the cracks of my day, instead of hoping one income and super will somehow stretch far enough.

It’s not about hype.
It’s not about guarantees.
It’s about taking responsibility for my own future.

If you’re sitting there thinking, “I’ll start later,” just ask yourself…

What actually changes if you don’t?

Sometimes the only difference between people who move forward and people who stay stuck… is a decision.

If you’re ready to stop waiting, I’m happy to show you what I’m doing.

24/02/2026

I don’t want luxury.
I want options.

Options to reduce hours.
Options to say no.
Options to not stress about retirement.

That’s why I build this.
Simple.

Freedom looks different at this stage of life.

The cost of living isn’t “going up.”

It’s already up & doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon

Groceries. Power. Insurance. Rates. Fuel. Everything!

Most of us are working full time and still feeling like we’re treading water.

And here’s the part nobody likes to say out loud… our wages aren’t keeping up.

I’m not here to sell fantasy. I still work full time. I still get up and go to work. But in the cracks of my day, I’m building something that costs less than a takeaway meal.

Not thousands of dollars.
Not risky investments.
Not complicated tech.

Just a structured business model, training, and a community that actually supports you while you learn.

You don’t need to quit your job.
You don’t need perfect conditions.
You don’t need hours a day.

You need a decision.

For me, it’s about not relying on one income in a world that keeps getting more expensive.

If you’re working full time and quietly thinking, “There has to be something more than this,” I get it.

Because I was thinking it too.
