CASTING CALL
Wirrim Media Pty Ltd are currently casting for a self-funded short drama.

TITLE
The Return

LOGLINE
A soldier’s demons’ surface

SYNOPSIS
Set in the 1970’s a young solider returns home. He reconnects with family and his childhood sweetheart. As he settles into normal life again, the trauma of war surface and impacts his life and those close to him.

CAST
We are looking for a male and female leads (20-25 years). Also, an older male and female (55-65 years). Must have good experience in drama as the characters experience trauma and PTSD.

LOCATION
The film will be filmed on the Gold Coast or northern NSW in mid Feb over a 2-day weekend.

We have a small budget as it is self-funded film. We will be able to cover costs such as fuel and a small daily fee. We will feed you well as well!! We have a great, extremely talented, and very experienced crew working on the film.

CASTING CALL
Wirrim Media are currently casting for a series of films for an Indigenous health provider as part of a major campaign to be launched later this year.
We are still looking for a few more 1st Nation males and females (25 to 50) to play the roles of health workers being interviewed.
Synopsis
The roles are based on Indigenous health care workers talking about their experiences in the health care system.
Location
The series of films will be filmed in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast at the end of July early August over a 2 day period TBC.

We are currently casting for a curriculum project for a major Australian University and are looking for the following actors:

Key individuals involved in the scenarios
• Female (45-50) (non-Indigenous): role is as a university lecturer
• Male (35-40) (non-Indigenous): role is as a university lecturer
• Male (early 30’s) (Indigenous); role is as a new lecturer on campus

Can't believe it has been over a year since updating our page. We have done so much in that time! Sold our studio to a major production company. Built an even bigger client base. Employed some amazing staff. Transitioning to a more creative slate of projects. Bought a grip van. updated production assets. Had a music clip entered into an international Indigenous festival. Appointed to a SQ task force. Directed a TV series for Lonestar. No wonder our page has not been updated!!!
