🩰 RAD • GRADE • 4 • EXAM 🩰

Letssss gooooooo!!! A HUGE thank you to Miss for preparing our grade this year! I felt confident and ready to take on my second RAD exam!! 💪🩰 Surprised myself with being awarded DISTINCTION again (as Lyrical and Contemporary are my fave genres). I even bettered my score from last year by 1 point/percentage 💪which awarded me the highest scoring student from our studio in our grade. ❤️🫶

Thank you for nurturing us and ensuring we are prepared not only physically but mentally, and emotionally for our exams and performances. ❤️🫶🥰

🦈 NYC • SOUTH • QLD • SHARKS • U12B 🦈

What a comp 💪 We went down to Coffs Harbour to compete in National Youth Championships for touch football 🏉 at the end of the school holidays. Our U12B team was undefeated in our pool Day 1 & 2, and then weather rained on our parade. 🌧️ If we would have played our scheduled game against the team in 5th place in our pool and won, we would have gone straight through to the finals. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case and we had to play quarter finals in torrential rain to our U12A team. We lost 5-0 and were so cold we couldn’t feel the ball. It was freezing 🥶 We had a great comp though and we are already looking forward to the prospects of playing again next year for 💪🙏

Head was a little sore from 🎤”Whippin’ my hair back and forth,” on Day 1 but had a blast 💥 learning the commercial jazz routine with Marko Panzic! We even had a mini after party of pool swims and pizza 🍕! Having the best time for my first experience and thankful to be sharing it with some pretty amazing, and talented people 🫶🥰 ❤️

So excited to work with all the amazing mentors .theperformanceexperience . End of semester report indicated 8 x A’s and 3 x B’s. A’s received in all core subjects 🫶 Work hard and play harder they say! Proud to end 2023 with these results and can’t wait for 2024!!

Delighted beyond words to have been awarded the Artist of Colour Scholarship to attend the RISE Performance Experience workshops at the end of January 2024 in Melbourne. What an honour and opportunity this is to work with active professionals in the arts community as well as be mentored along the way. This experience provides many benefits, physically, emotionally and mentally and will nurture our passions and broaden our minds. Thank you to Jackie + Mitchell for this generous scholarship. 🏉 F R I • N I G H T • T O U C H 🏉

That’s a wrap for Friday night touch football for 2024! The U10 Wolfpack team played like total champions (all aged 9 bar me)! We don’t train weekly, we don’t train at all, we just go out there as one and try our best!! We lost in the Grand Final to Cobras but only just - score was 5-4!! The good thing for my Wolfpack bros is that the Cobras are all top age like me so they’ll move up next year to U12s. Pretty awesome we all play on the same Chiefs team already for U12 👍

Not bad for a first full year of touch football. Getting to play reps and closing out with my Mighty Wolfpack team! I will certainly miss them next year, but I’ll definitely be looking out for them! As one chapter closes, another one has already begun. Time to finish out the year with the All Nations Touch tournament in 2 weeks!! 🏉🏉🏉 Love this game!

🥳 H O U S E • C A P T A I N • 2 0 2 4 🥳

Kael is following in mama’s footsteps with many of the abilities and achievements that he possesses, but of course at a 2.0 level upgrade to me!!

Proud is a complete understatement. He’s 10yrs old and will be 10 for the first 6 months of his captaincy! 32 were shortlisted for House Captain, 8 for each house (4 boys and 4 girls). They had a day to prepare for their speeches!!

Scenario went like this, re his announcement:-

📞2:29pm phone call from school
“Hello” I hear on the line
I reply, “Hello Kayden” (as he’s always the culprit calling usually “unwell.” If it’s not Kayden it’s the reception staff informing me he or Knox have hurt themselves)
“It’s Kael” in a saddened voice.
I reply, “Are you ok?l
He says, “Yes” but still sounds sad
I ask, “Ok what’s up?”
He says, “I got House Captain!”
I SCREAM 😱, I cry tears of joy 🥹😭 and I tell him how proud I am of him and how well deserving he is of this accomplishment!

Kael is involved in many things, dance, touch, indoor soccer, athletics (clinics and when we can do sprint training), modelling, acting, and carrying out jobs as well! He’s currently rehearsing for Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols which has also taken up 8hrs each weekend and has raced back to complete his dance class commitments. People would never know what he goes through or does on a weekly basis, and unless you were his brothers who are his biggest supporters, you couldn’t imagine how he carries on through. Bring on the end of the year, to give him that much deserved break (and us as well) and bring on 2024!

Must say, I love being the boys #1 fan and greatest supporter!
