😞 No time for a workout? How about trying some ‘Habit Stacking’!!
💫 Been sitting for too long or feel energy dropping? Stand in a human X posture and reach up and over as you transfer your weight to one foot and allow opposite hip and heel to lift noticing the waist contracting. Allow your ribcage to open and close like an accordion. Breathe deeply as you hold the position and make this feel like a glorious yawn like stretch before transferring weight to other foot. Repeat until you feel open, relaxed and return of vitality 🤩
💫 Tone, lift and shape buttocks and outer thighs. Stand on one leg with weight on heel. Relaxed or softly bent knee. Lengthen out other leg and gently roll foot forward until you feel heel lift and pelvis roll forward. Stretch up and out of the pelvic basin and lengthen through leg until foot lifts from floor. Gently pulse leg up and down while you keep waist, back, hip, shoulders and neck completely relaxed. Feel the pulse working deep into outer thigh and buttocks.
💫 How about some quad toning plies? Stand using some support to help with balance. Rest heels together and lift up as high as you can without experiencing knee pain. With a straight spine, and staying lifted up out of pelvis, gently slide hips down 8inches and back up again.
Do everything slowly and mindfully, remembering to breathe…in…and out 😉!! Always listening to the signals your body will send you.
