🥕 Every now and then, I eat carrot cake for breakfast.
Alongside a protein shake.
Alongside a cute journal situation.
Alongside the version of me who doesn’t need a reason to enjoy food 🎤
There was no specific reason for this, it was simply a quiet choice that I made, without inner conflict, to honour what my body wanted that day. READ THAT AGAIN.
That carrot cake smelt like clarity.
It tasted like freedom.
It felt like being fully in my power.
And in that moment, the meal became more than food 👉🏼 it became integration.
The wellness industry loves to bang on about calorie deficits, the right foods and wrong foods, pre-workouts and the like. Whilst none of this is bad per se - this misses the mark in some fundamental areas...
🔹️Appetite is a language.
🔹️Desire is a form of intelligence
🔹️And feeding yourself from a position of grounded desire can be the most precise form of devotion there is.
This is how new rhythm lands.
