I thought it was finally time to properly introduce myself…
Heyy I’m Mai (pronounced “may”) and I’m a super passionate visual storyteller. I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, documenting life since I was just a little girl. I’ve forever been drawn to creatively capturing the moments, emotions, and memories that make us who we are. I’m also a huge lover of love and with that comes my passion and purpose for meaningful storytelling that showcases connection and authenticity.

Here’s a little more about me but instead of telling you who I think I am, I asked the people who know me best to share their words. The little things they notice, the way they see me, and the kind of person I am when I’m simply being myself.

To me, photography has always been about more than just taking pretty photos. It’s about the timeless captures that store nostalgic life chapters, hold special memories, start warm conversations, feel like home and last a lifetime. The type of imagery that you look at in years time and think “I’m so glad these were taken”. Whether you’re celebrating a new chapter, documenting your love story, growing your family, or wanting your brand to feel more authentic and aligned, it’s all part of a story worth being told and I’m here to capture it.

My goal is for you to walk away with photographs that don’t just show what your life looked like, but what it felt like. The laughs, the little touches, the in-between moments, and the things you never want to forget.

At first glance, professional photography session prices might seem like a lot and that completely understandable. But what you’re investing in is so much more than just the duration of time spent taking your photos. Price transparency isn’t for everyone, myself and most photographers tend to avoid it as it can scare off potential clients way too early. However, I think it’s important to put into context and help create an understanding toward the costs that are associated with being able to deliver your dream photo gallery✨📸

Every photographer prices their work differently based on their experience, skill, artistic style, investment in equipment, and the value/ quality of the service they provide. Rather than choosing a photographer based solely on price, I always encourage people to explore portfolios and find someone whose style of capturing matches what you are wanting out of a portraits session. It can be as simple as finding a photographers portfolio that makes you think “oooohhh that’s exactly how I want to be captured”.

The images from your session are more than photographs, they’re lasting memories of this chapter in your life. They preserve moments that can never be recreated, becoming keepsakes you’ll cherish and look back on for a lifetime. Truely priceless.

golden love with these two✨🌞 I’ve never understood the controversy with portrait photographers and light flares, I personally love using low light and flares to romanticise an image!

Also yes I haven’t posted on this account in a very long time as I’ve used the last couple of years to focus all of my time into my underwater career. However lately I have felt increasingly creative and been picking up a dry camera, tapping back into capturing love on land which has brought me so much joy. Very excited to bring this space to life again🫶🏼
