Best thing I ever did was to start working for me! 🙏🏼

Next month will mark the 2 year point since starting The Social Side and calling my own shots!

It’s certainly not been easy but ticking off goals and watching my business grow has been incredibly rewarding!

This hit me hard.. and ultimately is the reason you’re now seeing me here! ⁣

A little back story as to why this quote from resonates with me so much is that when I started The Social Side, I hit the ground running because of word of mouth 🗣. I was referred to a special client 12 months ago that I still work with today, then was asked by a friends business to take them onboard as well, and from there more and more clients, all from word of mouth. I didn’t advertise for myself once! 😲⁣

So I had instant income💰right from the get go, I instantly had work to do 👨🏻‍💻 and for that reason my own business social platforms took the backseat. Crazy right?! Especially as my line of expertise is social media!⁣
⁣
Eventually I started to get on top of collecting and creating media for my own platforms but I didn’t want to start anything until I had everything perfect. Time kept going by and I still hadn’t started. “It’s not right, I need more, wait until you have this” I kept telling myself. This wasn’t getting me anywhere. 😒⁣

Which leads me to now! As soon as I saw this quote, I said F*CK PERFECT! It’s time to start now. ⁣
