During my travels I found myself putting together quite the collection of music samples.
A free dvd here, a mates drive there, always growing organically. Loops, one shots, kits, demo packs..
It sure adds up.
Fast forward 20 odd years later with “Sample” tattooed in auslan on my forearm and a one hell of a chaotic collection of countless chords, claps, cellos, and chimes, I think it would be nice to share that with any keen friends and followers.
I was going to direct people to my new and naked discord to have access to this vault but maybe for now if you’re interested, simply DM/email me for the keys.

Join us for one last stroll through the aisles as fragments of designated shopping periods pass sift through our speakers. Recordings of our in-store muzak may linger on the PBS website and app - but like the best linkrotted vaporwave, they shall slowly dissolve into the background noise of the internet.

It has been an absolute pleasure serving you vaporous delights over the past 3 years. My thanks go out to those who have sent music in for consideration. There's too many to name, but I heartily encourage you to keep making and sharing your art - the world deserves to experience it.

Always Open may return in other formats over the coming years - a live pop up shop here, a one-off return to the radiowaves there. For now, I'll linger behind my customer service counter, awaiting a tide of shoppers that may never materialise, and never stop listening to the uncanny unreality of vaporwave.

Fellow Vaporwave, Bandcamp, and compilation album enthusiasts, behold the complete 'J-Card series', all gathered in a linktree hub for your convenience, with chibi stickers of each mascot to boot.

Running from the 25th of March, 2018, to the 18th of April, 2020, and spanning a total of 16 albums, this project explored its specific themes through the allotted musical genres and the many producers who interpreted them.

I'll be adding other curated compilations I've previously done, and will include new chibi characters accordingly!
