Really enjoying the direction of Series 2 as we dive into the music industry and start hearing from some of the people who help shape the scene. It’s been great to sit down and have honest conversations about where things are at and where they’re going.

We’ll be sharing some sneak peeks in the coming weeks. If you’re a musician, music lover, or just passionate about the industry, these episodes are definitely worth a listen.

This series is also shaping up to be a bit of an update on what’s happening around the scene , from venue shifts to changes in the way the industry works, we’re doing our best to keep our finger on the pulse and share it with you.

A real highlight for us was chatting with JC (John Collins), who co-founded Powderfinger , went on to launch The Triffid , and now serves as Queensland’s Nightlife Economy Commissioner. It was an honour to have him share his journey and insights and what he's been upto the last 7 months since he was appointed.

That’s a Wrap on Series One 🎙️❤️

And just like that… Series One of Den Devine Sessions is officially wrapped. 15 episodes. Countless stories. Endless gratitude.

What started as a simple idea—to sit down, share a drink, and talk music—became something much deeper. We’ve laughed, cried, jammed, and connected with some of Australia’s most incredible artists. From rising stars to seasoned legends, each guest brought raw honesty, wild tour tales, hard truths about the industry, and unforgettable live performances.

🎧 We talked passion vs pressure, independence vs industry, and why we do this crazy thing called music.
🎸 We created a space where artists could just be real.
📍And we did it all live at the heart of the Gold Coast—Den Devine.

To every artist who joined us, every listener who tuned in, and every person who supported behind the scenes—thank you. You made this more than a podcast. You made it a movement.
