This week our MSAs unpacked the connection between wellbeing, resilience and leadership - learning how to turn setbacks into growth, speak up with integrity, and let curiosity do the heavy lifting with Nicole and Kylie. 💭
 
Then it was time to put it all into action with the ultimate challenge: the SkyPoint Climb 🧗‍♀️ 270m above sea level, hearts racing, cohort cheering each other on - that’s what courage in action looks like 🙌

Everybody NOW is forming a community choir for BEACON, and they are looking for singers of all ages and experience levels to perform a special musical arrangement of best-selling author Holly Ringland’s poetry, commissioned as a part of Morag Myerscough’s large-scale installation, BEACON, for this year’s Bleach Festival. 🎶

You demanded a repeat, the whales delivered 🐋✨

You asked, we listened - round two of our whale watching excursion with Sea World Cruises was just as magical as the first. Humpbacks putting on a show against the skyline, right beside the boat - some experiences are worth doing twice.

Whale season runs until late October, so there's still time to see it for yourself. Once you've watched a whale breach with the Gold Coast skyline behind it, you'll get why we couldn't just do this once. 🌊

The Gold Coast Student Hub will remain closed for a little longer 🚧

Here's what you need to know:
❤️ We're working hard to get the Hub back open - we'll keep you posted as soon as we have a date
❤️ Hub events are still going ahead! They'll be held at alternative venues nearby
❤️ Support sessions are currently available online. From Monday 7 Sep, face-to-face sessions will be back on, held at CoSpaces (1/45 Nerang Street, Southport)
