“We do amazing hair”

This particular day I couldn’t talk to much to the camera because we were under the pump and so busy!!

Mainly thanks to systems and my ads bringing in loads of new and old clients 🤪🤑🤑

Soooooooo late last year I took over salon #2️⃣

I just couldn’t connect with the name or the soul of the place, so I decided to shut it down 🙃🤪🤨

Okay, that sounds a bit dramatic but I chose to do a complete reset… and Gold Coast Blondes was born ✨

I thought, “Ahh, this will be easy. I’ve done this many times before…” 💪

Umm……..little did I realise it’s basically like starting a whole new salon from scratch with just a small existing clientele.

Far out, the salon refresh, the rebrand, the identity, the content plans, the vision, the values… all the things, it’s honestly been more than I could chew at times.

But here we are 🦄

We’ve launched with full strategy, powered by hours of sweat, tears, tantrums and a whole lotta heart.

My salon team sometimes says I repeat myself a lot. And they’re right, I do.
And I will, every day, for as long as I lead this salon.

Why?
➡️ Because repetition builds habits.
➡️ Habits build standards.
➡️ And standards create results. 👏

One of the biggest things I drill into my team is:
The consultation is the most important conversation we have.

We don’t just “take bookings and paint hair”

We solve problems.
We read body language.
We listen.
We offer real solutions, not just services.

Because when you master the consultation, you build trust, create loyal, and most importantly we change lives.

I’m the biggest believer in manifesting.
To me, it’s also known as goal setting, getting clear, and creating a vision with a plan. ✨

But here’s the truth, you can dream, script, and visualise all you want…
If you don’t move, decide, or do the thing, nothing changes…..

Manifestation without action is just wishful thinking. Sorry it’s true.

So I created a simple rule for myself:
📋 Every time I get an inspired idea (that “manifesting moment”), I write down exactly what I need to do to bring it to life.

Then I move. I tick it off. I take aligned action. Move the needle.

That’s how my dreams become real.
That’s how I manifest, with mindset AND momentum. 💫

I spoke to a salon owner today who was really struggling and we did a little audit on her ads and socials….. basically all she was doing was trying to sell sell sell. ❌🙅‍♀️
This is not how you should be running your ads. Your ads should be like a story about who you are and how you can help people. People naturally gravitate to that rather than selling to them.
