1938 GALBUSERA V8 2 stroke 💙❤️🖤

The 1938 Galbusera V8 Two-Stroke is widely considered one of the most technically ambitious motorcycles in history, representing a peak of pre-war Italian engineering audacity. Developed in Brescia by manufacturer Plinio Galbusera and Egyptian-born engineer Adolfo Marama Toyo, this experimental machine featured a supercharged 498cc V8 engine created by coupling two V4 cylinder blocks. The design was remarkably advanced for its time, incorporating unique features such as a liquid-cooled dual-crankshaft system and a four-stroke-style lubrication system. Debuted as a prototype at the 1938 Milan Motor Show, it was claimed to produce 28 horsepower and reach a top speed of 150 km/h (93 mph) with a focus on smooth power delivery and reliability rather than raw racing speed. However, the outbreak of World War II and the subsequent bombing of the Galbusera factory destroyed the original prototypes, and the project was abandoned following Marama Toyo's death in 1946. For decades, the bike remained a "vanished" legend of motorcycle history until Italian craftsman Mirco Snaidero completed a fully functional reconstruction in 2025 based on only four surviving period photographs.
