With book week coming up these hand knitted characters from my all time favourite book Room on a Broom 🧹 are something that I will cherish forever.

I hope that all the little humans that I have had in the past in my care one day have a favourite story to share with their children or grandchildren creating memories from just being and reading to them. Even if it’s just one quick favourite book of theirs.

Happy Melbourne Cup Day.

Over the years, I’ve had some children and families that have had horses as a part of their family, just like everyday household pets.

One day, one of those children maybe lucky enough to be that jockey to ride the winning horse in the ‘Race that stops the Nation’.
