Total fire ban today on the Coffs Coast!

⚠️ TOTAL FIRE BAN NOW IN PLACE
- PARTS OF EASTERN

- 8:39AM, Monday 6th October

A Total Fire Ban is now in place for the North Coast and Greater Hunter areas. Hot and windy conditions are expected throughout the day with elevated fire danger across northeastern and eastern NSW.

❌ North Coast - Bellingen; Coffs Harbour; Port Macquarie-Hastings; Kempsey; Nambucca; Mid-Coast.

❌ Hunter - Cessnock; Dungog; Lake Macquarie; Maitland; Muswellbrook; Newcastle; Port Stephens; Singleton; Upper Hunter

A total fire ban helps limit the potential of fires developing.

During a Total Fire Ban you cannot light, maintain or use a fire in the open, or to carry out any activity in the open that causes, or is likely to cause, a fire.
