Throwback to August 1958 at Glen Innes!

The Men's Championship was hot competition, with some of the best players of the era battling it out for championship honours. It's photos like these that remind us of the incredible history behind our sport.

We know who these players are... but do you? ๐Ÿ‘€

Drop your guesses in the comments and let's see who can name them all! ๐ŸŽ

The Northwest Equestrian Expo (better known to many as Coona Expo) once again showcased why it is regarded as Australia's largest high school interschool equestrian event.

With teams taking to the field in a knockout format where you lose a chukker and you're out, the pressure was on from the very first game!

Kinross College proved unstoppable, winning all of their games on their way to the title. In the final, Sid Weston was lightning fast in attack while Imogen Thurgate and Alec Weston stood strong in defence, helping Kinross defeat the Farrer boys 3-2.

One of the highlights of the event was Division 2, featuring many students who are not yet registered polocrosse players but were keen to give the sport a go. After plenty of exciting chukkers, a combined Gundagai High School and Riverina College Wagga team faced Scots All Saints College, Bathurst in the final.

The combined Gundagai/Riverina team emerged victorious in what was a thrilling game and a fantastic showcase of the future of our sport. The team consisted of Jack Lindley, Claire Lindley & Grace Brabin.

๐Ÿ‘ Polocrosse remains a huge part of Coona Expo and events like this simply couldn't happen without the incredible volunteers who give their time and expertise.

A special thank you goes to:
โญ Tanya Mulligan
โญ Kylie Deshon
โญ Lachlan Ross

Your contribution helps introduce the next generation of players to our great sport.

๐Ÿ“ธ A big thank you also to Nicola Thurgate for providing the information and photos that helped make this post possible. We always appreciate our followers helping us share the stories and results from around the country.

If you were at Coona Expo, we'd love to see your photos and hear your highlights from the week in the comments below! ๐Ÿ‘‡
