A quick detour off the Armhem Hwy, Shady Camp is a bit of a fave fishing spot for the Darwinians.

Enjoyment Factor - 100

This place was just beautiful!

But, we did have to duck inside at dusk to escape the biggest mosquito's ive ever seen.

We had our first Caravan mishap! Ask us about losing our Caravan Window ! Lucky Craig is super handy and we could continue on with our trip to Kakadu. 🤦‍♀️😬

Our Darwin Must Dos!

1. Dundee Beach - perfect for fishing, charters, stunning cliffs and sunsets
2. A crocodile cruise
3. A trip to Mindil Beach Markets, and of course catching the sunset
4. A visit to Parap Markets and getting a 'Mary's Laksa' IYKYK ! I'd have to say the best in Australia!
5. Chasing Sunsets over the sea, they just hit different.
6. A swim at Berry Springs.

So much fun!

The most stressed a mum can be with 2 toddlers - on a boat in croc waters Sitting on the top deck of a boat watching crocs being fed.. But, would 100% go again. 🤣😂

It's just a lot of fun for the whole family. Our little ones are still talking about it weeks later!

This place was a great introduction to the Territory!

Daily Cattle Feeding in the morning, Farm animal feeding at night, seeing our first crocs at the back of the property on the river, which is also perfectly set up to have a flick to catch a barra!

This was a great little stay for us just outside of Katherine. The kids loved it! We were able to put away the Winter clothes and bring out the summer wardrobe! Officially chasing the Summer now!

One of a kind! There is no where like this place we've been to. Memories from 1000s of people who have visited over the years hang all over the walls.

Horses and Donkeys walking down the streets.
Old helicopters for the kids to climb into. The best feed you'll have. A great rest stop for the night with great live music!

Just a great pit stop for the night after a big day of driving!

Hey wonderful Community! You know whats coming...

THANKYOU to everyone of you who have passed through our little corner of the world!

Our community has made this such a wonderful 4.5 years. As we have grown from the Kombi to the Trailer, we've added 2 beautiful kids to our family and it has been a busy few years. We have made so many memories, and we are going to miss this little space so much!

Not only is the corner due to get built on by mid year, we have ourgrown this space! We have been so blessed.

WHAT'S NEXT ?
We are planning on hitting the road in the middle of this year for our Lap of Aus! So keep us on your socials so you can folkow along for the next part of our journey! Family, Travels, Adventure, Laughter! Good Vibes Only!

FUTURE PLANS?
Yes, we do hope to come back to Geelong, we would love to go bigger and better!

FOR NOW
Our last day will be Friday March 28th!

This gorgous Kombi has only has 3 owners and has been fitted to be a coffee Kombi by Craig and Steph when they first started Cups! She is completely unique and ready for you to start your own adventure without all the hard work of setting her up.
