📍Galvans Gorge

You were dreamy and seculded. A beautiful waterhole in the middle of the Gibb. Also so close to the road were were relieved not to have a huge hike in!

That boab tree at the top of the waterfall was just beautiful!

Day 5

📍Gibb River Road

Galvins George

A bit of the joy and the hardships of travelling the Gibb! But so lucky that Craig is so handy and got us out of all the pickles.

Blessed that the waterholes are so beautiful and such a break from the dry heat out here.

📍Ellenbrae Station

A beautiful desert oasis. Beautiful little swim hole on the properfy which was fab. Complete with a rope swing!

The staff are phenomenol! When we releasided about the battery one of the team were heading back to Kunnanurra and offered to pick up a bettery for us!! like how beautiful is that for country hospitality!!

The sconea were divine! The kids loves the stop! Defonately a must stop on your Gibb River Road Trip!

Day 4 on the Gibb River Road.

The corrugation got us good!!!

•Our skylight fell down!
• Our caravan battery died!
•The fridge tried to make itself dinner.
• The pump stopped working
• One door fell off...

It was a day!!

We go from Ellenbrae Station across east to find ourselves a nee battery!

Day 1

📍Emma Gorge

A beautiful waterfall, that was still flowing at the end of the season. A full hour hike there and back with the kids! Luckily Craig is official Backpack and kid carrier!

Owen normally makes it all the way one way, but needs help getting home after a hike and a swim.

This was such a beautiful spot! Definately a great first stop on the Gibb 💫

Bring It on!

A bucketlist part of our trip!

The Gibb River Road is in the Kimberley. It is 660km of remote, corrugated roads, with sprinkles of some of the most beautiful gorges you will ever see.

We were feeling pretty good at this stage of the trip!

📍Bungle Bungles, Echidna Chasm

The afternoon on our day trip was spent at Echidna Chasm.

The N.P. is so big I think it was an hours drive from the south to the north.

So beautiful to walk inbetween these rock formations and feel so small. This place was just amazing. It wasnt initially on our radar, but was definately worth the detour.
