Also, I spoke with our very own Tim McCallum about his extraordinary talents as an entertainer, now based in Brisbane but always calls Geelong home.

On episodes 2- 6 of the City of Dreams, I travelled down to the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula to visit the luxurious Lon Retreat in Point Lonsdale, met up with Hugo Armstrong who founded the iconic Blues Train and chatted with super successful business woman Lyndsay Sharp of the Sharp Group.

Heading back into town, it was time to meet with the Major of the City of Greater Geelong, Stephanie Asher before heading across to discuss the amazing story of Nathan Johnston and his Coffee Cartel business, hearing the story behind the cup to crop process..... whilst sampling his variety of high quality coffees.

Just over 9 months ago saw the launch of my passion project - the City of Dreams podcast, when I visited the Whiskery on the Bellarine to chat about the story behind the business - and what a great time we had.

Seventeen episodes later and it's in full swing, available on both Apple & Spotify providing a range of stories that span across entertainment, hospitality, entrepreneurship, community, art, sport and politics (just to name a few!)

It's all about why Geelong and the region is the fastest growing regional area in Australia. Such an exciting and most interesting project with so much to talk about- and many more to come. 😀👍👏
