It’s been a tough season here 💔 Our home is still under repair from the flooding, and some days it feels like the process will never end. Everything is packed away, including my cookie gear, so I can’t share as many sweet creations as I’d love to right now.

I miss baking and decorating so much, but I’m holding on to the thought that once the repairs are done, Cass’s Cookies will be back stronger than ever. Thank you to everyone who’s been patient, supportive, and checking in — it means the world. 💕

Our Buff Orpington hen has become broody and is determined to care for her eggs. She is currently incubating around 10 eggs and refuses to leave them, so I am bringing her food and water. She is taking her new role very seriously. The incubation period is 21 days, so we have a two-week wait ahead of us. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥

💧 Life Update from Cass’s Cookies 💧

Hi everyone, I wanted to share something personal with you all. Recently, our house was flooded, and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. 🏚️💔

Right now, everything is in storage while the house is being repaired, which means I can’t make cookies for a little while. This has been really hard for me — baking is my happy place, and I miss sharing new cookie creations with you.

Thank you all for your patience and support while we get through this. 💕 Your messages and kind words mean the world to me, and I promise I’ll be back with fresh, beautiful cookies as soon as I can.
