Hay's annual September sheep sale drew a big crowd, and despite reports the sale was 'subdued' we were there and the prices broke records.

"The sale was competitive, and I think everyone would be happy,” Nutrien agent Geoff McDougall said. “The quality was there, and the buyers were keen to bid."
