The Pakistan Association of Australia strongly denounces the recent assault on Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel during a mass at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, Sydney.

Such acts of violence are abhorrent and have no place in Australia, especially within places of worship and towards religious figures.

Our heartfelt sentiments and support are with Bishop Emmanuel and the affected individuals, and we pray for their swift healing.

We call upon the community to remain composed and collaborate towards ensuring the safety and security of all Australians.
