This disaster has affected many of my local communities, businesses and their families. Many have lost their homes and livelihoods.

A range of disaster assistance measures are now available for communities in the Wide Bay Burnett region impacted by flooding.

This support includes low interest loans of up to $250,000 to help flood impacted primary producers and small businesses in Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, Gympie, North Burnett and South Burnett LGAs. Find out more on the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority website at www.qrida.qld.gov.au

The Queensland Government would like to connect with business owners impacted by the recent floods in the Wide Bay Burnett area to identify what additional help they need during this challenging time.

We are conducting a natural disaster business survey to help us understand the impact of flooding on businesses in the area and what assistance they require.
