Ridley Farm Studio has partnered with the City of Victor Harbor and Country Arts SA to launch an incredible new opportunity for young musicians aged 15–26 from the Southern Fleurieu.

Spend up to three full days in our recording studio and walk away with your very own 3-song EP, fully recorded, mixed, and mastered right here at Ridley Farm Studio.

Whether you’re an experienced artist, part of a band, or new to songwriting with songs you’re ready to get out there, this program is for you. 🌟

A huge thank you to the incredible Year 11 students from for joining us in the studio once again! It was a blast recording your cover of ‘Dark Necessities’ by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. You all brought so much talent and professionalism to the session, and it’s always a pleasure working with such dedicated students and amazing teachers. Can’t wait for next year!

Meet Jordy and Doc, the dynamic duo and official studio dogs at our recording studio!
Jordy and Doc may not operate the mixing board, but they’re experts at creating a pawsitive atmosphere. Their roles include providing cuddles, snoozing through tracking sessions (with expert-level snoring), and spreading joy to our clients.

With their wagging tails and unconditional love, they’re an integral part of our team, always ready to lend a paw and make every session a tail-wagging success!

🎹 Two of our favourite instruments in the studio…

A Smith & Dawson upright that’s been around longer than most of us. It’s got that worn-in magic ✨ an old soul with a pure tone and heaps of character. Think lofi textures, raw ballads, or anything that needs that lived-in sound 🪑

Then there’s the Yamaha G1 Baby Grand 🎶 clean, rich and expressive. In our live room, it absolutely sings. It’s ended up on more recordings than we can count.

Both of these have become quiet centrepieces in what we do here.
