PARANORMAL UPDATE:

Next in the count down we have the Queenstown Hospital!

Similar to other investigations, the location was imposing, not necessarily because of the possible paranormal encounters, but the simple fact that there were two of us and a VERY big hospital to cover.

We covered the large hallways with cameras on both floors and set up DVRs that were continunally recording. A Facebook live investigation was also set up in the surgery room, for viewers at the time to help us cover as many rooms as possible!

Our host Joe was very hospitable and when we last spoke he was setting up a high standard hostel in the former nurses quarters. We were able to stay in the hostel and it was quite comfy! We hope he is getting on well in years past and getting his idea up and running.

'The original Queenstown hospital was built in 1895 and experienced the typhoid fever, diphtheria and scarlet fever epidemics during the early years of settlement. The original main hospital structure was partially burnt down in 1939 and rebuilt in 1940.'

PARNORMAL UPDATE:

In our continuing count down to Halloween, we present one of our next favourite investigations.... The Bush Inn Investigation.

This was a fun investgation, just because so much was actually happening and we were having a hard time as new team keeping up!

We experienced everything from disembodied voices, shadows, physical manipulation and our first clear EVP of a woman in room 6.

'The Bush Inn was our first major investigation outside of the Willow Court precinct. At the time we relatively new to the field and coming to terms with how to effectively investigate a location and how to present our investigation. Four years on, we took another look at our raw footage and thought we could present the investigation in a better light, adding new footage, evidence and a format that is easier to understand.

The Bush Inn is Australia’s longest operating pub. It opened its doors in 1815, but it wasn’t until 1825 under the management of Ann Bridger that it remained opened and licensed. Without going into too much detail, as we already have a video dedicated to the building’s history, but the Bush Inn has been used not only for housing weary travellers, but for providing a space for local government officials, business meetings and religious groups. The Bush Inn has seen early colonial figures, such Sir John and Lady Franklin, hosted the Irish composer William Vincent Wallace, who became inspired by the local atmosphere and later created a famous song for his opera. The renowned Dame Melba also graced the Inn in 1924 and the first international call in Australia was made from the Bush Inn.

A place as old and steeped in history, it is no wonder the Bush Inn also has its fair share of paranormal occurrences. The most common is about a girl who haunts room 6. Apparently, she fell down the stairs, which claimed her life. Other reports from locals and the current proprietors suggest that there is everything from apparitions to shadow people haunting the building.'

Over the night few days until Halloween we will be posting our favourite investigations for you to view at your discretion 👻

Our most last investigation (That has been released) was of the Port Arthur Motor Inn and Roseview house.

We spent 2 days investigation the site, accessing several haunted rooms, the bistro and then the entirety of Roseview. It was also great to hear staff stories and the history behind the site. They were very accomdating , so if you can go and support them, please do!

PARANORMAL UPDATE:

Here it is, Roseview House Investigation!

An intial error uploading it made the total length of the episode 1 hour and 38 minutes. While we have a passion for creating documentaries, we try not to make film length episodes!

'This interest in seeing the past of the former penal settlement influenced the construction of accommodations, such as the Hotel Arthur, Roseview House in the 1920s and later the Port Arthur Motor Inn. Roseview was built around the 1920’s and was once a guest house, hostel and backpackers. This building has had many additions throughout its history, which can be seen in its haphazard layout. The Roseview House is thought to be haunted by several spirits, including unknown children (Possibly Alice) and Mrs Barnett the original owner of this guesthouse. Other activity includes light switching, moving objects, disembodied voices and apparitions.'

UPDATE:

It has been sometimes since we provided any updates.

Unfortunately, life gets in the way and investigations and the production of episodes have to take a step back in the ever growing list of priorities.

Roseview was our last investigation in 2021. We released two parts covering the Motor Inn, but did not release part three. Part three proved challanging, as the data kept becoming corrupt. Part three covers the overnight investigation of Roseview. As it stands, it is 60% complete, but slowly being worked on.

We'll provide another update when it is ready, but for now here are some stills from the video footage.

UPDATE:

What a weekend of investigation.

Briefly, while this will be included in an episode covering the investigation, the spirits residing at Roseview were somewhat more active, utilising some equipment to communicate their intention to us.

We had a huge scare when one of our live cameras caught a moving object. At the time our jaws dropped. However, after further investigation, it turns our our EM pump's spinning magnet broke, which made it move.

Overall, the feel of the house was more welcoming compared to our intial investigation and we hope to find more forms of evidence when reviewing the footage.

We hope to have the first investigation out soon! 👻

What a great weekend it was at the Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair. Amazing weather and a great trip! Stayed in the old Cecil Hotel which with the stories I’ve heard could be a future place to investigate! Finished off with a visit to Cradle Mountain.

Recent discoveries at the historic Port Arthur site have given insight into the daily lives of the convicts imprisoned there.

Stolen coins, illegal gambling chips and intricate metal tools were found below the workshop's clay floor, after at least 144 years of being hidden away.
