There’s a magic that happens in moments where you can see not only what’s there but also what might be there. I love to play with the ethereal nature of reality, the illusions that show themselves like the unsettled ghosts that swirl about the place where I live. 
My images are a one-time meeting between myself, my camera and the atmospherics of where I happen to be. I know this moment won’t happen again. It’s fleeting, impermanent, and the images are elusive, they transform as I’m watching them. I want my images to be an honest reflection of my thoughts on my time here. I think about what these moments are made up of - is it my reality, my imagination? Is it something that only my camera sees - or something else?

It's great to be part of 'Images Of Tasmania' this year! There really is so many amazing artists on show and so much to take in. I hope you get a moment to go and see all the work on display. Daily till 6th Jan.

So much fun revisiting this amazing wonderland called Venice, the 2 ‘aqua alta’ sirens made me sad, I feel it’s most likely slowly fading away before our eyes. The Biennial festival is certainly an eye opener and very visually stunning.

Amazing to witness Archie Moore’s profound artwork made for the Venice Biennale - perhaps one of the most deeply affecting artworks on show and burns with such a deep intensity it made me realise what art can be. (pics 4 and 5) Other pics are other artists.

The photo exhibition with photos from Dylan Madge-Brady and myself is on at at Sunroom gallery, School of Art Monday to Friday 9-5, runs till 27th June.

We had great turnout for the opening, hope you can get a moment to see it too.😀
