Bron can't make it in tonight for this week's Groove Pod, but we are keeping the beats pumping for a Friday with two new International DJ shows which we will slide into our weekly/bi-weekly schedule.
7PM is DJ Phil Loraine and his show House Trained.
The show format consists of a 60 minute ‘house workout’ DJ mix by Ibiza-based DJ and artist manager Phil Loraine. Each show listeners can expet to hear a diverse curation of sounds with a common house music thread.
Showcasing the finest new disco, vocal, soulful and jackin’ house flavours, the show moves through the gears with a flourish of tech-house, electro, techno and prog, before reaching its climax with a dancefloor tried and tested house classic.
Inspired by his Phil’s tastes and tracks which become a staple in his DJ sets throughout the years, the essence of the show is an all-encompassing nostalgia trip for all generations of house music lovers.
It started as a show on Ibiza radio waves in 2020 and now it's global.
At 8PM it's DJ Cuebrick and Cuebrick's Conference radio show.
Cuebrick is a young German DJ and dance music producer. 2014 was a true breakout year for him. He first came to nationwide attention when his hit-single “Watch Out” by “The Disco Boys & Cuebrick” defended the #1 spot in the German dance charts for seven weeks. Also his latest singles “Citylights” and “Moments” both made Beatport’s top 100.
He is now on the radio mixing it up weekly across the world.
