The Man I want to be series launches with .vreis , a young person who recently came out from the justice system.
The Man I Want To Be is a TEDx-style event held at Cobham Youth Justice Centre for the last 7 years where young people are given the space to reflect, speak, and share their vision of the man they want to be.
Through personal stories, honesty, and courage, each speaker explores values of growth, accountability, resilience, and purpose. These are not performances, they are moments of self-reflection and intention.
This project was made possible through a collaboration between and ZOKU Creative. To support this work beyond the stage, a limited-run collaboration shirt has been released, with 50% of all profits directed toward ZOKU Creative delivering video support at Cobham Youth Justice Centre — empowering young people through storytelling, filmmaking, and self-expression.
