In just over 24 hours Grant Broadcasters' commercial stations Bay 93.9 and K rock 95.5, and community stations 94.7 The Pulse and 96three FM all got new Nautel NV5-LT transmitters installed and on air at the Murradoc Hill site in Geelong, Victoria.

The airwaves of Geelong, Victoria are now well and truly covered by Nautel - AM FM Broadcast after the delivery of 4 new NV5LT FM transmitters! Grant Broadcaster's Head of Technology, John Sandles coordinated the project between stations 96three Geelong Christian Radio, 94.7 The Pulse, bay 93.9 Geelong and K rock Geelong which saw a turnaround time from delivery to on air of less than 2 days!! A great achievement by John and we're delighted to have been involved in this unique community collaboration.

Today marks the end of an era at Sonifex as we say farewell to Kylie Shears. Kylie joined the company in 2008 and after nearly 17 years, is moving on to new adventures. Kylie’s dedication, hard work, expert knowledge and exceptional customer support will be greatly missed along with her professionalism and great sense of humour! It's been a day filled with fun, laughter and a few tears as we wish Kylie every happiness and success for the future!

Tieline’s award-winning MPX codecs deliver composite FM multiplex (MPX) codec solutions for real-time network distribution of uncompressed FM-MPX, or compressed MicroMPX (µMPX) signals to transmitter sites at much lower bit-rates, in addition to a return FM audio monitoring feed.
