Here at BIRDS EYE VIEW HQ, we’ve always swooned over the warm inquisitive style at ABC Conversations so this pick by their producer made a pretty big explosion 💥 this morning when it dropped into our world. 🚀 Thank you!

Some of the ABC's best podcasters recommend their favourite audio series to binge or slowly take in this New Year — from documentaries and music deep dives, to reconsidered histories and a new genre, 'investigative comedy'.

Our EP, Johanna Bell heads back into today for the first time since we launched. It's always tough to run programs in prisons but has made this year even tougher with and postponed programming. While it will be great to see the women involved in the making of BIRDS EYE VIEW, it's always hard to go back.

Such a mix of feelings today. It’s the first time I’m going back inside since the launch of the Birds Eye View Podcast. I can’t wait to see all the women I worked with but I’m dreading the heaviness of that place.

Big sing out to Rocket 🚀 who gave an amazing presentation at the Audiocraft Festival on Saturday. Talking with EP Johanna Bell about the ins and outs of collaborating, vicarious trauma and where to next for BIRDS EYE VIEW, Rocket proved herself as not only a stabd our storyteller but also a whiz when it comes to online presentations. One audience member was so moved, she gifted Rocket $1000 worth of audio equipment so that she can start recording from home. Thank you Kayleen. We were super moved by your generosity. And thanks too to the team at Audiocraft - Kate Montegue, Jess OC and Jess Bineth! What an awesome festival.
