Married to the Land

Married to the Land Rural Podcast
-Discovering our everyday rural, remote and regional women's life stories. Whether you’re a fifth-generation farming family or new to the land.

How they got to where they are today and how they become 'Married to the Land'. If you’re a stock hand, driving a header, returning from a day of muster, checking water, fixing fences, or raising a herd of humans you’ll find yourself in the stories of Married to the Land. The Married to the Land podcast connects rural women across Australia. Podcast host and grazier, Angie Nisbet was born and raised a countrywoman. Now based at Landsborough Downs, in Hughenden Queensland with her husband and three kids, Angie is passionate about capturing and sharing stories from women on the land. Each season, Angie goes beyond the weather conversations, peeling back layers of joy, heartbreak, hardship, grime, dust and sweat, to uncover relatable tales from women, married to the land.
