Melbourne Museum and its Learning Lab immersive projection experience, River Connections has won a Good Design Australia Award for Best in Class, Digital Design – Game Design and Animation.
River Connections was created by Grumpy Sailor and Museums Victoria in collaboration with Koorie Elders and community members, Aunty Esther Kirby, Uncle Larry Walsh, Uncle Brendan Kennedy and Genevieve Grieves. The experience explores their close connections to the land, animals, plants and rivers of Victoria. Enjoy this piece I created for them earlier in the year:
