🌿 El Questro Gorge 🌿
What an epic day this turned out to be! 😍
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever achieved something quite this challenging.
There are two stages to this hike — 3.2km Grade 4 to the Halfway Pool, or 6.8km Grade 5 all the way through to Mac Micking Pool.
We decided to step right outside our comfort zones and go for the complete experience! 💪
We climbed over rocks and boulders, scrambled up waterfalls, waded and swam through water, and somehow made our way all the way to the end. I even did my first-ever bomb dive! 😂💦
It was tough, it was exhausting, and at times I definitely questioned what we were doing 😂… but it was so worth every single step.
The scenery, the challenge and the whole journey were absolutely amazing. ❤️
6.8km, Grade 5 and 6.5 hours later… WE DID IT! 🙌
That celebratory beer at the end was literally all I could think about during the last hour on the way back! 🍻🍻😂
What an experience.
I’ve never felt so alive! 💪🔥
