That Film Stew | Episode 670 – Coyote vs. Acme (Review)

Directed by Dave Green and written by Sammy Burch, COYOTE VS ACME 💣 is the comedy film loosely based on the 1990 The New Yorker magazine article “Coyote v. Acme” by Ian Frazier – itself using elements from the Looney Tunes cartoons.

After decades of being blown to bits, demolished, mangled, battered, trampled, and steamrolled by countless Acme products, Wile E. Coyote finally fights back. Teaming up with billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte), he takes on slick corporate counsel Buddy Crane (John Cena) and Acme, Inc., the profit-obsessed conglomerate behind every one of the Coyote's chaotic catastrophes.

We break down all things from the troubled release of the movie, the return of the Looney Tunes characters, and the all-important court-based drama.
