Driving on the road, I noticed a Rocky Outcrop and I had to stop and take a look at it. The colours were spectacular and I don't think the camera showed it full beauty.

Out bush in the Western Australia Goldfields with the detector buzzing, I stumbled across some rabbit burrows. One hole gave off a solid target – I was sure it was gold! Dug it up… just a chunk of lead. But I wasn’t giving up. Moved barely a metre, hit another signal… and this time, out popped a shiny gold nugget! Just goes to show – the gold’s never far, even when the rabbits beat you to the Gold 🐰💛

I spotted a pile of wood stacked up so I knew the ground had been raked for gold. After detecting the area, I found 4 pieces of gold. Showing that they didn't get it all.
