There’s been a wave of fresh followers lately, so it’s time for a proper reintroduction.

I’m Christine – your go-to Time-Hacking Mum and the founder of The Fearless Females. (Based in Ipswich, QLD and online)

I’ve been in the fitness industry since 2013, but trust me. 💁🏼‍♀️I’m not your typical coach. With a background in healthcare, behavioural science, and mindset work (yep, I’ve studied hypnotherapy too), I help women break the BS cycles, ditch all-or-nothing thinking, and build strong, confident lives they actually love living.

I’m a loud laugher, dirty-joke dropper, and full-time fun enthusiast. Around here, we do deep work, but we do it with heart, humour, and a whole lot of hype.

Embracing The Mess Made Me Better: What Chaos Taught Me About Coaching

For a long time, I thought I had to be polished, sharp, flawless.
The version of me that only ate “clean,” never missed a workout, and always had her life together.
The version that “practised what she preached” — but forgot to leave space for the messy, human parts of living.

Now? I’m older, wiser, softer.
And I know better.

I know that most women aren’t “lazy” — they’re overwhelmed.
They’re carrying a mental load no one sees, juggling roles, and quietly questioning whether they’re even allowed to make space for themselves.

And I get it. Because I’ve lived it.

These days, I’m just as likely to say,
“We’re running late!” (So often my kids think it’s a game)
As I am to say, “Let’s dig into what’s holding you back.”
I swear a lot. I love a wine. I'm on my phone too much. I show up frazzled sometimes.

But it’s real. And it’s mine.

And that’s the magic — helping women not just get fit, but gain freedom.
Freedom from the belief that they have to earn their worth through perfection.
Freedom to find themselves again — and become better parents, partners, humans, and friends as a result.

I don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t either.

I’ll keep holding space for the chaos, the breakthroughs, and the beauty in between.
Because this is the real work. And it’s worth it.

I Am Her. She Is Me.

At my recent workshop, I spoke about the idea: "I am her, and she is me."
The future version of you looking back at your past self—and at who you are today—realizing you are exactly the person who gets to become her.
She knows the questions to ask.
She knows the actions to take.
She just has to do it.
And she is not afraid.

The image on the left is a photo of me the day I chose to leave a toxic relationship.
A life that, at the time, was the only one I knew.
The only relationship I had known.
The only behaviours I had become accustomed to.

Sure, she was smiling.
But she was scared.
She didn’t know herself.
She didn’t know what she liked or what she wanted.
She lived to please someone else—someone she would never be “good enough” for.

The photo on the right is me three months after I left that relationship.
I had stepped into a space where I was finally able to be me.
My body began to heal itself.
I started to understand my likes, my dislikes, my beliefs, my value system—the one I chose, not the one someone else told me I needed to have.

The FIRST IMAGE—me today, eight years later.

A version of me that doesn’t give a f**k if people like her or not.
Because I know I’ll find my people.
A version of me whose body no longer showing signs and symptoms of the autoimmune disease that once attacked her.
I am her. She is me.

I didn’t take pills or jump on fad diets.
I healed my relationship with myself.
I discovered who I am, what I value, and what I love.
And I stopped entertaining relationships that didn’t align with that.

I am loved.
I am blessed.
I have a husband who practically worships the ground I walk on,
Two beautiful children we’ve created together,
And a lifestyle we’ve built that is completely ours—a life we designed together.

Sure, I could talk about dollars in the bank.
I could list off the overseas trips.
But I won’t—because to me, this is true wealth.

The connection.
The hard work.
The energy we’ve poured into becoming the people we needed to be—
Both together, and alone.

And I know—we’re not done yet.

Imagine being afraid to train alone but finding that one friend who brings you into the gym and holds that safe space for you when your trainer isn't there.

PUNISHING YOURSELF FOR OVERINDULGING??
IT'S TIME TO TAKE A NEW APPROACH!!

Chances are, if you do one of these two things, you are punishing yourself without even knowing it in order to "stay" or "get back on track"

1. Drastically reducing your calories the next day to try and account for what you over consumed. 🥗

2. Trying to out cardio your choices.🏃‍♀️

❌Both are as equally damaging as each other and here is why.

Drastic reductions in calories will result in feelings of hunger, and then become a cycle of overeating, hunger, overeating, hunger, and then your body, metabolism and hormones, will have no clue what's going on (and you end up feeling like you constantly need to "fix" yourself)

When it comes to out training your choices, this can lead to cycles of over training, injuries, and again feelings of failure and not good enough

It doesn't have to be this way, you are one of a majority of people who will overindulge, not just at Christmas but at any given time of the year, and this is a great opportunity to change your relationship with food.

The trick to not letting food guilt get one up on you is to know that overindulging CAN be just a one off, it's not a failure.

Here's how to combat the guilt and have a better relationship with your body, mind and food.

1. Keep moving your body the way that you did before and according to your training plan, there is no need to add in extra cardio or more sessions.

2. Make your next meal a balances one, choose protein, a variety of vegetables and complex carbohydrates.

3. Remind yourself that the bloating you may feel is the result of todays food, currently digesting in your belly. it's not permanent so long as you make great choices around it.

4. Don't weight yourself daily As a woman your body will fluctuate, they may have nothing at all to do with the food you have consumed, and will only leave you losing your confidence and probably your motivation too.

These are some of the tried and tested methods .fearless.females are using to build their body confidence and break free of food fear.

I shared this on my story, and on my personal Facebook (where I have like very limited followers) because I didn't want to seem braggy...

Like are you joking?

I've been called so many things, from "a fake", to "too much" to "self promoting" and none of those people have ever even stepped foot into the space that is my business or been a part of anything I have ever created...

Yet their words were playing back to me like someone, somewhere will be offended by my bragging about achieving something cool like this.

So here I am, not so humbly bragging that I was the PERSONAL TRAINER of the QUARTER in all of Goodlife QLD for Q3 (Aug-Oct) for the community I created for my clients, for the tireless work I do behind the scenes for the gym, and because I genuinely give a s*it about the people who walk through those doors (or slide into my inbox)

Because I know some of you have gone out on a limb or been so scared to reach out and ask for help... and when you did or when you finally do, it's so increadibly brave....

Know that I see your bravery, I see your struggle just know I will walk it with you.
