Our fundraising is part of a big-picture vision to light up Jindabyne. All funds raised go towards achieving that plan. We have already installed over $25,000 of lighting with funds from last year. Each year we raise more money towards lighting, and eventually everyone will enjoy an illuminated winter wonderland in our beautiful town. By purchasing these items, you are supporting a Jindabyne Chamber of Commerce initiative which will make your future visits even more magical than they are now. Oh and you also save money by getting a super cheap deal on these!!!
We are about to start working on some cool prototypes for the next stage of lighting too, keep your eyes peeled for updates. In other news, did you see that we ran a fundraising campaign at Easter which resulted in the community funding the purchase and installation of the Big Chairlift by Darragh Walsh! Installation is underway and you will soon be able to pose on this iconic sculpture with Lake Jindabyne behind you. All our Chamber initiatives have a goal of improving our wonderful town, so we would really appreciate any support you can provide.
